Attica Asset Management, an independent active-only, multimanager provider, is set to offer Barclays Global Investors' (BGI's) passive products when pension fund clients demand.

In using a passive fund manager Attica is following new multimanager Escher, which launched officially last week, becoming the first in the UK to include a passive manager in its repertoire of managers. Escher also uses BGI. Both multimanagers will provide their own client service and combined service reports.
