Augusta Finance expands into Germany

Augusta Finance, the London-based mid-market merchant bank, has hired Benedikt von Schröder, a former managing director and head of investment banking at Morgan Stanley in Germany, to lead its new advisory and placement business in Germany.

Augusta, which focuses on medium-sized, privately owned companies, was established 18 months ago and authorised by the UK's Financial Services Authority last August. It offers capital markets advice and equity and debt market financing.
