Aviva’s Munro turns to insider for key investment role

Head of equities lands role as CIO for the equities and multi-asset divisions at the insurer’s investment arm, handling £68bn in assets

The head of equities at Aviva Investors has landed the role of chief investment officer for the fund manager's equities and multi-asset divisions.

David Lis will handle some £68 billion in assets in the new role and will join the Aviva Investors executive committee with immediate effect, reporting to chief executive Euan Munro, who joined from Standard Life Investments in January 2014.
