Aviva Investors has appointed Pat O’Brien as chief executive of its North American division, in the second senior management appointment in as many weeks.

O'Brien was appointed to the role yesterday. He will be based in Chicago with responsibility for the asset manager's operations in the US and Canada, and report to group chief executive Alain Dromer.
