The solutions merry-go-round has continued to turn, with Aviva Investors building on its own push into the area with the hire of a BlackRock manager to oversee investment strategy across the division.

John Dewey, a managing director within the client solutions division of $4.5 trillion BlackRock, will join Aviva Investors as its head of investment strategy within global investment solutions, a new role, in 2016. Aviva Investors' solutions team was launched earlier this year by Mark Versey, chief investment officer, investment solutions, who joined from Friends Life in 2014.
