Aviva Investors has made nine hires to its global equities team, including a raft of stock-pickers from the investment business of rival Aberdeen Standard Investments.
It marks the first big wave of recruits since David Cumming, the former head of equities at Standard Life Investments, took over as chief investment officer at Aviva Investors at the start of the year.
