Aviva sets £10bn-a-year target for funds division

Insurer sets ambitious goal as part of a broader strategy update

UK insurer Aviva set a target of £10bn a year in net inflows at its asset management business by 2022, as it updated investors and analysts on a groupwide revamp.

Aviva Investors, which manages £65bn of external money out of total assets of £346bn, reported net outflows of £900m from external clients at Aviva’s half-year results in August.
