Axa Investment Managers, the French fund manager, has hired Emeric Challier as head of fixed income from rival Fortis Investments.

Emeric will be responsible for the fixed income teams in Paris and Frankfurt, including euro credit, euro investment grade, money market, emerging markets, global bond and total return. He will also be responsible for the credit research and the portfolio engineering group.
