Axa Investment Managers, a fund management arm of the Axa Group, has appointed Celestar Capital Advisors, a newly formed company, to advise its fund of hedge funds operation.

The hedge funds unit, Axa Alternative Advisors, is based in New York and Paris. It manages approximately $600m (€535m).
