The AXA Investment Managers unit that invests in property and infrastructure has hired a new head of European transactions, who will be tasked with finding and executing deals for the €71bn business.
John O'Driscoll will join AXA IM - Real Assets from property advisory firm JLL, where he had been in charge of mergers and acquisitions in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. His new role will put him in charge of overseeing the sourcing, selection and execution of the acquisitions the business makes, according to a statement.
