AXA forms joint venture to pick up US logistics properties

Two real estate investors have teamed up to buy $400m-worth of logistics properties in the US, a growing segment of the American market.

AXA Investment Managers' real assets division has struck a joint venture deal with Bixby Land Company, a California-based real estate operator. The companies will acquire up to $400m of logistics properties in the west of the US, according to a statement from AXA IM.
