AXA Investment Managers has hired a team of four from Advantus Capital Management, a US fixed income specialist, to form a dedicated US investment grade fixed income team.

Frederick Feuerherm, Wayne Schmidt, Kent Weber and Steven Nelson will be based in Minneapolis, Minnesota as part of AXA IM's North America team. The new team, lead by Feuerherm, will report to Robert Kyprianou, head of securities investment management, based in London.
