Axa Investment Managers has lost its head of hedge funds and its UK chief executive on the same day, with the departures of Véronique Courlier and Paul Griffiths.

Griffiths, who led Axa's bonds business as well as being UK chief executive, has resigned to join Crédit Suisse Asset Management as global head of fixed income.
