Axa names new global trading head

Yannig Loyer succeeds Paul Squires, who left for Invesco in February

Axa Investment Managers has recruited from Bank of America Merrill Lynch for its new head of global trading, filling the gap left by the departure of well-known trading chief Paul Squires earlier this year.

Yannig Loyer, most recently head of senior relationship management for BAML’s global markets division in continental Europe, will be based in Paris and report to Daniel Leon, Axa’s head of engineering and trading.
