Axa Real Estate Investment Managers is aiming to double the value of its non-traditional assets under management over the next three years

Axa Real Estate Investment Managers is aiming to double the value of its non-traditional assets under management over the next three years, with the goal of managing €1.5bn ($1.9bn) in properties such as student housing and healthcare facilities by 2015.

The fund manager, the real estate investment unit of French insurer Axa, currently manages €750m in assets that fall outside the realm of plain vanilla retail, commercial and industrial space.
