Pierre Vaquier, chief executive of Axa Real Estate Investment Management since April, has reorganised the European property specialist for a push into markets beyond the continent.

Fund managers in the firm now report to global head of fund management Christian Delaire, who was head of fund and asset management in France. He will coordinate investment strategies and risks, in a role equivalent to chief investment officer at traditional asset management houses.
