The fund management arm of Axa suffered a sharp decrease in revenues last year on the back of huge falls in assets under management over the course of 2002, according to the French insurer's annual results.

In total, Axa Investment Managers and Alliance Capital lost over €150bn ($163bn) in assets under management over the course of the year.
