b-business partners, the European venture capital company, has hired Nils Albert as managing director in the London office, as part of plans to expand across its four European offices.

In his new role, Albert will look at new investment opportunities and work with the firm's existing portfolio companies. Albert gained experience of managing growing businesses at General Electric, where he worked for 13 years. He held a variety of financial and operational roles, including most recently managing director of GE European Equipment Finance, and vice president of GE Capital.
