Baillie Gifford, the UK-based asset manager, has promoted a new director and a manager to head its Pacific Horizon Investment Trust.

Mike Gush starts a new role as co-manager alongside Gerald Smith with immediate effect. Gerald Smith will become a director of the company from February next year.
