Bain Capital, Apax Partners and Advent International are among a number of private equity firms circling Unit4, an Anglo-Dutch tech firm valued at €1 billion, according to people familiar with the matter.

The Dutch provider, which focuses on business software, announced on October 14 that it had received preliminary interest from private equity firms for a possible takeover bid for Unit4.
