Bain Capital, the Boston-based private equity firm, stands to make around C$728m ($600m) after agreeing to sell Advertising Directory Solutions, the Canadian telephone directories business it bought last November, to the Yellow Pages Group, for C$2.55bn.

Bain bought ADS, previously known as SuperPages Canada, last November for $1.5bn.
