Bakred remains firm on Cobra

According to the German federal banking supervisory office, Cobra still holds 17% worth of the votes in Commerzbank, despite reports to the contrary.

The reports suggested that Cobra had returned the voting rights to the original shareholders, and therefore that Cobra no longer held them. A spokeswoman for the supervisory body said at the time of going to press: 'Cobra does still have the votes.'
