Balderton hires second partner in three weeks

UK venture capital firm Balderton Capital has boosted its partner headcount for the second time in three weeks with Bernard Liautaud, the co-founder and former chairman of software company Business Objects.

Earlier this month the firm hired Dharmash Mistry, a former executive a UK publishing group Emap, as a partner to replace co-founder George Coelho, who joined Good Energies, a €4bn ($6.2bn) investment company backing renewable energy businesses, in May.
