Balyasny Asset Management, a $3.7 billion US hedge fund manager, wants to re-establish a presence in London to take advantage of the investing environment in Europe, and a buyers’ market for hiring talent.

Colin Lancaster, senior managing director at the firm, told Financial News: "Strategically, we believe it a good time to increase certain of our European asset exposures and there's more to be done there."
