Balyasny Asset Management has hired the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority’s Tarek Rizk as head of the Mena region as it builds out its Dubai office.

Rizk will oversee Balyasny’s newly established operations in Dubai, and will lead the expansion of the firm’s presence across the Middle East, according to a memo obtained by Financial News.
