Bankers at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and UBS will be fielding calls from potential buyers for The Co-operative Bank after the lender put itself up for sale on Monday.
Arif Vohra, BAML’s co-head of financial institutions investment banking for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and UBS’s Benjamin Crystal, a managing director in the financial institutions group and head of fintech for Emea, were named on a stock exchange announcement from the Co-op in which it said it is launching a sale process alongside other options for raising capital.
