One of the co-heads of Bank of America Merrill Lynch's top-ranked electronic stock trading business in Europe has left the US bank, following a period of growth for the franchise.

Tony Walker, who co-led BAML's European electronic equities business alongside Natan Tiefenbrun, left the bank earlier this month, according to people familiar with the situation.
