Bank of America Merrill Lynch has named a replacement for Alex Wilmot-Sitwell, its well-known president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa who stood down over disagreements on the bank's Brexit planning.

Bernard Mensah, co-head of global fixed income, currency and commodities trading, will take the reins in addition to his current role, according to an internal memo seen by Financial News.
