BAML replaces investment banking chief De Giorgi

First big move from new corporate and investment bank boss Koder sees two US dealmakers take over

Bank of America Merrill Lynch has replaced its London-based head of global investment banking, Diego De Giorgi, in the first major staff change under new boss Matthew Koder.

De Giorgi, who joined BAML in 2012 and became sole head of investment banking two years ago, is set to depart in February, according to an internal memo seen by Financial News. He is to be succeeded by two US-based dealmakers.
