Bank of America Merrill Lynch is relocating its head of European investment banking to Paris in the latest indication the French capital is winning the battle for City talent as firms plan for Brexit.

The move reflects a broader strategy by BAML to have more executives in the European Union as the UK prepares to leave the bloc next March and comes in a week that many of its rivals have taken similar steps.
