Banc of America Securities, the investment banking arm of Banc of America, has poached Paul Phillips from Goldman Sachs to become its global head of technology investment banking.
Phillips will head Banc of America's technology investment group, based in San Francisco, and will report directly to Carter McClelland, the president of Banc of America Securities. He will be involved in all aspects of raising equity and debt capital and mergers and acquisitions in the technology sector.
