Bank of America adds more than 50 to debt this year

Bank of America has recruited five bankers from rivals to strengthen its European debt business and bringing the number of new hires this year to more than 50.

Andrew McCourt has joined the London team from SG as head of financial institutions credit trading for Europe. McCourt, who traded bank capital at SG and has also worked at Morgan Stanley, will report to Alex Bernand, global head of structured and international investment-grade trading at Bank of America.
