Bank of America has appointed Michael McLaughlin, its US-based head of global structured products, to run the structuring and trading business within its asset securitisation and investment grade debt team for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

McLaughlin, who will relocate to London in August to take on his new role, will continue to be responsible for the structured products sector, which includes credit derivatives, collateralised debt obligations and structured capital markets.
