Bank of America Merrill Lynch has confirmed its new head of debt capital markets coverage in the Middle East and North Africa, a region that has so far failed to match last year's levels of issuance for the US bank.

James Sadler's move from BNP Paribas to BAML move was first reported by Reuters in May but BAML gave details of his new role in a statement on August 18.
