Bank of America investment banking profits fall

Bank of America has suffered double-digit dips in its investment banking and asset management profits for 2002, although its overall profits increased.

BoA's global corporate and investment banking division earned net income of $1.72bn (€1.6bn) in 2002, a 17% decline year-on-year. Profits in its asset management business fell almost 30%.
