Bank of America Merrill Lynch adds US venture head

Bank of America Merrill Lynch has appointed Frank Walters as vice chairman of global investment banking and head of venture coverage. Based in Palo Alto, California, he joins from Goldman Sachs where he spent eight years as head of venture coverage. He has been heavily involved in M&A and IPO advisory work for venture firms after two decades in the industry.
