BAML names a new dealmaking chief in Europe

Former Greenhill & Co banker to join US bank in July as head of M&A in Europe, the Middle East and Africa

Bank of America Merrill Lynch has hired a former senior executive from independent advisory firm Greenhill & Co's European business as its new head of mergers and acquisitions for the region.

Luca Ferrari will join BAML in July, according to a memo sent to bank employees on June 23 by global M&A co-heads Jack MacDonald, Adrian Mee and Patrick Ramsey, and Luigi Rizzo, the bank's head of Emea investment banking.
