Bank of America has named a new head of equities in Europe, in a rare example of a senior female executive making it to the top of a traditionally male-dominated sector.
The US bank has promoted Martina Slowey to head of equities for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, according to an internal memo seen by Financial News.
