Bank of America transfers in head of investment banking

Bank of America is shipping over Douglas Bowers from the US to run its European investment banking franchise in London, replacing Alexandra McLeod who has left the bank after 22 years.

Bowers, who was managing director of the banks middle market investment banking team in based in Charlotte, will be responsible for expanding the banks investment banking business in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). McLeod has left to pursue other interest outside of the bank.
