The Bank of England has admitted for the first time that hackers are constantly targeting it, highlighting the dangerous rise of cyber threats to the UK’s central bank.

In response to a freedom of information request by Financial News, the BoE revealed it is subject to persistent “advanced and evolving cyber threats which call for extreme vigilance”.
