Bank of England official warns of market correction risk amid Russia-Ukraine conflict

A senior Bank of England official said that a market correction could be on the cards in the wake of escalating conflict in Ukraine.

"Though we can envisage the future, we cannot know it...And when, for whatever reason, the future does not match those expectations, there has to be a correction," Sir Jon Cunliffe, deputy governor for financial stability said in a 2 March speech.
