Bank of Scotland makes Dutch leveraged finance push

David Gibson left Bank of Scotland's London structured finance department, where he was a director, to head the bank's new leveraged finance operations in Amsterdam.

Gibson's move is designed to push Bank of Scotland forward in the Dutch leveraged finance market. Two new staff have also been recruited to join him. The move comes at an opportune time, as Dutch banks including ABN Amro and ING Barings have yet to establish themselves as leaders in the European leveraged buyout market.
