Banker bonuses at risk as Biden win hammers dollar: ‘Sorry, it’s not as much as you thought’

The greenback’s fall is likely to continue, hitting City payouts during a record year

Joe Biden’s victory in the US presidential election could deprive London bankers of a chunk of their bonuses.

The reason: Biden’s arrival in the White House is expected to push down the value of the dollar, eroding the size of City payouts despite a record year for revenues at some of the world’s largest banks, according to recruiters and senior bank executives.
