Tens of thousands of City workers have been sent home again under a fresh UK lockdown. But as Covid-19 infections sweep across London, the affluent boroughs favoured by senior finance professionals are the least affected places in the capital.

London has been hardest hit by the latest wave of the coronavirus pandemic, with hospitals overwhelmed and cases of the virus hitting new highs. There have been nearly 510,000 cases of Covid-19 in London since the start of the pandemic, and currently, there are more than 13,000 people being infected each day, according to Public Health England numbers.
