Bankers charged with Eurotunnel insider dealing

Two bankers are facing insider trading charges relating to a £816m (€1.2bn) capital increase in Eurotunnel between April and June 1994.

Judge Dominique de Talancé of the Paris Criminal Court has charged David Wennman, the former head of equity trading at Swiss Bank Corporation (SBC), and James Lyle, the former managing director of Tiger Management, with actions which constitute insider trading.
