Banque Privée Edmond de Rothschild sees surge in new money

Banque Privee Edmond de Rothschild saw new money inflows of SFr6bn in the first nine months of 2008, as the Geneva-based bank took advantage of outflows from some of the bigger wealth managers.

The figure was revealed in the Geneva-based newspaper Le Temps, which cited the bank's chief executive, Claude Messulam, but was later confirmed by Wealth-Bulletin.
