Barclays Capital has hired Marat Djafarov from Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein to run its European emerging market corporate research effort.

Djafarov left Dresdner last month after two years covering eastern European, Middle Eastern and African companies in the German bank's emerging markets research team. He joined Barclays as a director last week.
