Barclays Capital, the investment banking unit of UK bank Barclays, has hired Trevor Mullin from Goldman Sachs as a director within its global compliance sector.

Mullin will be responsible for compliance issues relating to the firm's equity-linked products and equity financing business in Europe. He will also handle the co-ordination of compliance support and oversight for these businesses globally.
