Gerard Holden has quit as head of mining and metals at Barclays Capital to become joint executive chairman of Aim-listed natural resource group Lonrho Africa. He will also become non-executive chairman of two other companies in the mining and resources sectors.
Holden, who has worked for the Barclays group for more than 20 years since joining in 1985, will give up his current duties and take on a senior advisory role at Barclays Capital.
