Barclays and Arca spend €100m on Marr minority stake

Barclays Private Equity and Arca have taken a 33% stake in Marr, the Italian meat products distributor, for €100m ($107m), which Marr plans to use for acquisitions over the next three years.

Marr continues to be owned by Cremonini, the Italian food distribution company. Barclays Private Equity and Arca bought a 12% stake in the company from Cremonini for €35m and injected a further €65m in a capital increase.
